Zounds!

Someone asked me to talk about Wario’s Woods a while ago, and I feel bad that it’s taken me this long, but I hadn’t played it in a very long time (and even then, I don’t think I’ve ever played much of it), and MOTHER 3 is eating much of my video game time lately. Anyhow, I’ve just started playing Wario’s Woods a bit, and it’s certainly no game to sneeze at. It’s easy to forget a puzzle game here and there, especially in the NES/SNES days of PUZZLE GAMES EVERYWHERE, but Wario’s Woods is pretty solid. It’s an interesting take on the “Things are falling! Do shit with them” style puzzler, but with a twist: instead of controlling the pieces themselves, you control Toad, who runs around and moves pieces around himself.
It’s good. Somewhat addictive. If you haven’t played it before, go ahead. :D
